Books, Articles and Resources

There are many books, articles, and resources about New Almaden and readers are encouraged to explore the history.

 

FONAT co-founder Michael Boulland along with member Arthur Boudreault in 2006 published "New Almaden" which is widely available and has over 200 images of New Almaden in 128 pages (part of Arcadia Publishing Images of America: California Series, ISBN: 9780738531311).

Materials from the collections of Laurence Bulmore and Jimmie Schneider are also at History San Jose and Stanford University.

 

The Bancroft Library of the University of California, Berkeley also has a New Almaden collection.

Museums

The New Almaden Quicksilver Mining Museum is located in New Almaden. Visit the Mining Museum and see the current displays and photos of the Ting.
